Recession Over!

Well, not entirely! But there is a lot of good news about the economy!

In an article published by the Sun Sentinel on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, Bernanke, the Fed Chairman, stated that:

The worst recession since the 1930’s is probably over… The economy likely is growing now, but that won’t be sufficient to prevent the unemployment rate from rising. From a technical perspective, the recession is very likely over at this point.

One thing is for sure, the economy is moving again. Unemployment has slowed by half since January, housing prices have started to rise for the first time in three years and American Banks are stabilizing.

All of this is good news for the economy. It’s a good time to do some maintenance on your home in preparation for the holidays! I think we all need a little celebration!
